The Story of the Hunger Relief Foundation

To create a world where no one sleeps hungry — by providing sustainable, reliable, and dignified food solutions to communities in crisis.

Our Mission

A world where every human being has access to nutritious food, regardless of their location, background, or circumstance.

In the summer of 2012, in a small community center in New York, a group of friends gathered around a single shared purpose — to fight hunger, one meal at a time. They had seen enough: children going to bed hungry, families struggling after natural disasters, and elderly people forced to choose between food and medicine.

With just a vision, a borrowed office space, and hearts full of compassion, the Hunger Relief Foundation was born.

What started as a local food drive with volunteers delivering food parcels to underprivileged neighborhoods quickly grew into something much greater. By 2015, the foundation had expanded to operate in five countries, partnering with local shelters, schools, and emergency response teams.
